Our Story

Mike Mnich, President and Founder of CVMedia, began his career at US Maintenance, a local janitorial contractor. While attending Wayne State University, Mike started as a janitor cleaning buildings at night and, over 13 years, rose to become President and CEO — helping grow the company into one of the largest janitorial contractors in the Midwest.

In 1993, Mike launched Corporate Video Services to produce in-house training videos for US Maintenance’s 1,500+ employees. Two years later, when the company was acquired by ISS (A/S Denmark) – the world’s largest janitorial contractor – Mike spun off the video production division, creating CVMedia. The “C” stands for Corporate and the “V” for Video – defining the foundation of the corporate video production company businesses still rely on today.
